Après avoir retouvé un ancien répertoire oublié de MP3s sur mon disque, je me suis rappelé de pas mal de choses et j'ai tapé sans trop y croire Deceuninck sur google...
On s'était rencontré vers 99 / 2000 sur le net et on avait un peu discuté...
Amusant de voir que 5 ans plus tard tu continues et que tu as même réussit à faire éditer certaines de tes oeuvres...
Il va falloir que je voie ce que tu as fait de nouveau.

C'est assez étrange de tomber sur ton site en recherchant des infos sur le jeu "The Hobbit". Au départ je dois avouer que je ne savais pas trop à quoi m'attendre en tombant directement sur la page "download". J'ai pris l'une des musics "Facing Mount Doom", puis une autre... et finalement j'ai tout pris. Durant les téléchargements j'ai pris le temps de lire ta biographie, ta page accueil, tes projets et le reste. C'est grand ce que tu as fais pour en arriver là. Je te souhaite d'arriver à tes fins. PS : J'aime aussi beaucoup le travail qui a été fait sur le site. Chapo aux webmestres.

Mae govannen ! Comment ai-je découvert Patrice Deceuninck ? Par pur hasard. Dans le hors-série n°1 du magazine "Faeries" (éditions Nestiveqnen), il y avait un article sur: "Le Seigneur des Anneaux" en musique. Et le premier nom à apparaître était celui du compositeur qui a enchanté mes oreilles. J'ai téléchargé immédiatement ses morceaux sur ce site, mes préférés sont "Lost in Fangorn" et "Reunion in Orthanc", ils sont SUBLIMES. Comme je suis en train d'établir un monde et une histoire pour écrire un livre de fantasy épique (même si je n'ai que 14 ans), Patrice Deceuninck reste mon "inspirateur musical" !... Mes goûts musicaux étant "particuliers" aux yeux des jeunes de mon âge (qui écoutent de la soupe), j'aimerais correspondre avec des gens qui savent apprécier l'oeuvre de Patrice Deceuninck. Merci à vous tous, mais surtout à mon compositeur favori, à qui j'adresse ce bref message : "Continuez à composer de fabuleux morceaux, je serai toujours là pour les écouter !" J'ai trouvé "THE RING BEARER" par hasard, chez un petit disquaire ! De tous les disques qui existent autour du SDA, celui-ci est le meilleur. Je le mets en 1ére position, juste avant la BOF du dessin animé de BAKSHI. En tout cas, bien avant les disques décevants de HOWARD SHORE et de tous les autres. Le rappel des musiques de DARK CRYSTAL ou de JOHN WILLIAMS, ainsi que de compositeurs comme STRAVINSKY, est assumé et utilisé avec brio. C'est beau et la magie est là. J'ai hâte d'entendre tous les autres titres avec un orchestre ! Merci, en tout cas, pour ce premier volume.

Just yesterday I first heard "The Horsemen of Rohan" and I have been listening to it up to now. This is a fine piece amongst a good collection which, as you say, gives just a different rendering on Tolkien's account from Jackson's, but appropriate nonetheless. I'm sure you will become Someone.
